A message from Lark Doley, Toastmasters International President, regarding our District Conference!
The three day conference will take place from May 10th to 12th in the center of Marseille. You can expect a number of quality workshops on public speaking and leadership and six speech contests:

- Evaluation contests finals for District 59 in English, French and Dutch
Make learning meet pleasure and fun in the beautiful city of Marseille: France’s oldest (and second largest) city, with a tradition of hospitality, maritime history, and multiculturism. You can visit the old town, understand why the town became European capital of culture in 2013, and savour specialities like fish soup. Sip a leisurely pastis in a port-side bar, and watch the world go by. For its 2019 Spring Conference, District 59 has chosen a city you will fall in love with!
Can I participate in the conference?
Yes, the registration is open. The conference is open to everyone: Toastmasters members and guests.
Can I participate in the speech contests?
The participants of the speech contests during the District Conference have won in their club, area and division. Only Toastmasters members take part as contestants. If you want to learn more about the contest rules you can read the rulebook.
